(ACADIAN) HAPPY BASTILLE DAY!

"The holiday we are expected to celebrate even though very few of our ancestors were still in that country then.

"Does anyone have the story of the Acadian widow (Landry) and her daughter who was guillotined for helping a priest?

"Does anyone go to any celebrations?? I went to Paris in July? 1970 & 1971 but missed the parades.

"It has been celebrated In Kaplan Louisiana since about 1911 This is the town that if you speak English , or don't live in the town? you are Less Americians."
